I have looked at several colleges that offer Bachelor of Science in Biology, and chose University of the Philippines Manila because of its commitment to its biology, zoology, and botany programs. Your programs offer strong foundation for advancement and specialization in biotechnology, genetic engineering, computational biology, genomics, molecular biology, and neurobiology.

 

My aim is to pursue a career in the field of Medicine, and I believe that University of the Philippines Manila is the best option to prepare me for this challenge. I have been exposed to the different aspects of Biology through lectures, laboratory work, research, and field trips during senior high school. I have critical, analytical and problem solving skills and the Ability to perform various laboratory tasks independently or as part of a team which I believe is necessary to understand numerous scientific names, terms and procedures especially in the laboratory and research.
