REFLECTION

Writing is a process. It's not always easy and it takes a lot of time and creativity. This whole semester I along with my fellow grade 11 students were living proofs to that.

This semester we wrote a variety of essays about different topics. We made a five paged Synthesis paper on different timely topics and issues, a compare & contrast essay about mom and dad, a problem solution essay in the form of giving an advice to someone, a static description activity which made use of our drawing skills and imagination, a definition essay on how we defined family and what family is for us, a personal essay about what shaped us to be the individuals we are today, a memoir on a memorable and unforgettable moment, a compare & contrast essay on two famous personalities, our own personal creed, a concept map on Malcolm x, a t-chart and drawing for before and after the blight, an editorial on specific topics, a resume, and an application letter for college.

I have to admit that it took a lot of time and effort to accomplish everything in order to pass a good output. Remember that what's important is your voice, your mind, and your story. So don't be afraid to write, you can always rewrite and repeat the process all over again. Never quit and don't stop sharing a part of you through writing.
